Items to Bring
Here is a handy list of suggested items that will make your stay at our ranch more enjoyable.
- Camera
- Binoculars
- Sunscreen
- Chap stick
- Medium Weight Jacket
- Heavy Riding Coat
(In early spring & late fall/winter)
- Jeans
("Wrangler" brand jeans are recommended because they don't have the double sewn, inside leg seam, reducing skin chafing)
- Bicycle Shorts or panty hose

These can help prevent chaffing)
- Tennis Shoes or Hiking Boots/Shoes
- Riding Boots with a heel
- Long Sleeved and short sleeved T-Shirts - layering is a good idea
- Hat with stampede string
- Sunglasses
- Riding Gloves
- Chinks or Chaps (if you have them)
- Rain Slicker
- Personal Items: Tooth Brush, Other Toiletries, Band Aids, Skin Lotion
- Beer/Liquor (we don't carry a liquor licence so bring what you like)
- We provide towels and other bedding
- We provide water bottles to carry when hiking or riding
Can I Bring My Own Tack? Yes - We want you to be comfortable.
Guests are welcome to bring their own saddle, saddle bags, cantle bags or other cowboy gear. Our wranglers will inspect your gear before you ride out to ensure it fits our horses correctly. Your items can be shipped via UPS or US Postal Service in advance of your visit (keep in mind that the regular mail only comes to our ranch on Tuesdays and Fridays each week). |
