This area has a rich and fascinating history you will be able to discover during your stay at our ranch including pit houses, cliff dwellings, pictographs, pottery shards, and other artifacts of the Mimbres people who were here from 200-1150 AD. This is the homeland of the Chiricahua Apaches and the birthplace of Geronimo the famous Apache warrior. You will also learn about Basque Sheepherders coming through the area, Cowboys, Outlaws and even Tin Mining!
